I have found a passion for Crochet, thanks to my Daughter moving back home. She started with Granny Squares and I had a go and am now 'HOOKED'.
I have started with a simple Granny Blanket, which has become a labour of love and is now approx 50 inches square and a great coverlet for my bed.
Its made of simple budget wool in a Teal blue, Lime Green and Purple ( looks better than it sounds) and took just over a week to make. I am now looking to start a new project and will be trawling www.ravelry.com for ideas.
Have a great local store, with plenty of different colour yarns to choose from so am just deciding on a colour scheme and will be trying 'Shell stitch' for the next one.
